Sixth Form College Cambridge

Your sixth form exams are round the corner and you are wondering what you can do to get into the university of your choice. There are some people who have a natural knack for understanding everything that they are taught and passing exams but if you are not one of those people you have to put your head down and study. This may make you feel like you are in a bit of a panic – you shouldn’t be; millions of people have sat sixth forms and passed and there is no reason why you shouldn’t.
The first thing you should do is get yourself in an environment which is conducive to study. Focussing at home can be hard. Not only do you waste a lot of time getting to and from school, studying around your family is full of distractions because they keep interrupting you. There are also other distractions like TV, video games and of course your friends.
You should talk to your parents about enrolling you in a sixth form boarding school. You can look for one together. It can be one that is close to home so that you can come over during weekends, but if you are comfortable staying away from home for long periods you can go to a school that is far away.
The other thing you should do is choose your subjects carefully. It is true that at your age you may have no idea what you want to be when you grow up but you know your strengths. When you are choosing your subjects you shouldn’t allow yourself to be influenced by friends or adults in your life. Choose subjects that you find easy to understand and that support whatever you would like to study when you get into university.
You should enrol in the Cambridge Centre for Sixth Form Studies, one of the best sixth form Cambridge schools. You can find out more on https://www.ccss.co.uk/.
